Creamy Herbed Scalloped Potatoes
You might need to double up on the Lactaid here, but it's so worth it.
When things bubble, ooze, and seem like they have a mind of their own in the oven, I know I’m in for something delicious. I developed these creamy scalloped potatoes as an alternative to mashed potatoes, which I begrudgingly have to admit are not my favorite. I wanted to make something that reminded me of my grandmother’s scalloped potatoes (that came from a box) but with fresh ingredients! It’s a little fiddly to begin with, but then you let it sit in the oven and do it’s thing!
